                                      Andhra Pradesh has two major rivers, Godavari and Krishna flowing through many districts in the state. AP Tourism is taking many initiatives to promote river tourism, by conducting river tours, river side camps and also planning to promote Konaseema as an alternative to Kerala. In this post I'm going to give a brief introduction about all AP Tourism River tourism projects in Andhra Pradesh. Amalapuram is the only major town in kakinada. Rajahmundry is the only airport near to Konaseema. Other accessible airports are Vijayawada (160 Kms – 4 Hours) and Visakhapatnam (200 Kms – 6 Hours).                                                  Andhra Pradesh has 22 sancturies and 4 national parks covering an area of around 5% of the total geographical area. Among them Sri Venkateshwara Sanctuary and National Park, Nagarjunasagar Srisailam (Project Tiger), Pulicat, Papikonda, Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary and Kolleru are so popular. AP Tourism is taking all the steps to promote Eco-Tourism in these places by providing accommodation and   by organizing Eco trails.
