Dudhsagar waterfall trek

 For those people who are interested in trekking don't need much intro about the Doodhsagar waterfall trek, and will have this as one of their dream treks. I was waiting for almost 4 years for this trek and finally started 2012 monsoon with this trek - Dream Trek. I should thank Venkee, Founder of Hyderabad Trekking Club(HTC) for organizing this trek and made that two days of trek most memorable to me.

Rachakonda Fort Trek

                                Most of the people in Hyderabad haven't heard about this place and even I don't know much about Rachakonda fort till Soorya Prakash of HTC organized one day trek to Rachakonda fort in March 2012. After seeing the pictures of that trek, I was waiting for my chance to visit Rachakonda fort and I should thank Venkee, founder of Hyderabad Trekking Club for organizing a memorable one day trek to Rachakonda fort on June 10th 2012. This trek, temples and the fort location was too good and the weather on the day of our trek was awesome.

Trek to Mysterious Island

After I uploaded mysterious island trek pics on Facebook, many of my friends are curious to know about this place and they were really surprised to know that such a place exist in Andhra Pradesh. I read about this mysterious island somewhere on the net and really waited for my chance to go there. Finally with the help of Hyderabad Trekking club and Soorya prakash, i got a chance to visit this beautiful mysterious island. Location & History: Yelleswaragutta - mysterious island is located on Krishna river, upstream to Nagarjuna sagar. It is situated very near to famous Nagarjunakonda. There is no fixed transport facility to reach this island. This island is actually a hill and there is one Siva temple on the top of the hill. Trek to Bhuvanagiri Fort

                                         Many times while passing through bhuvanagiri, i used to think that it is very difficult to reach top of the bhuvanagiri fort, as the mountain is very steep and never though that one day i will be reaching the top, trekking on those steep mountain. I should thank Soorya Prakash, who is friend of mine from many years and Hyderabad Trekking Club for organizing a memorable sunrise trek to Bhongiri fort. Andhra Pradesh - River Tourism

                                      Andhra Pradesh has two major rivers, Godavari and Krishna flowing through many districts in the state. AP Tourism is taking many initiatives to promote river tourism, by conducting river tours, river side camps and also planning to promote Konaseema as an alternative to Kerala.
