Yelagiri is located in the Vaniyambadi Tirupattur road of Vellore district. This weekend getaway lies on a sprawling 30 square kilometers area at an altitude of 3500 feet. Yelagiri resorts are located in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, which is around 240 kilometers from Chennai and 90 kilometers from Vellore City. The Yelagiri Paragliding Club is developing this hill station into a high class paragliding site. Currently three take-off and landing points at heights of 450, 560, and 600 meters AGL (above ground level) have been identified, and professional equipment and instructors are available.
